Utter shock!
Yesterday on a nice drive I took a long sweeping onramp at a "more spirited" speed than I normally do.
I had forgotten that I had a can of Fresca in the cup holder - but the damn thing held!

That is amazing as the cup holder is more like a coin storage holder.

Hahaha it was open with two dice, splash of change and a Corvette Museum medallion under it.

I amazed that it even went into the cup holder with those things in it. You got VERY lucky. This is why no liquids other than water are allowed in my car.

For specifics, the can was half full. It took me a mile once on the freeway for the “red alert“ hairs on the back of my head to stand up when I remembered I did that. I have two aftermarket holders but they’re just a little bit further reach over on the passenger side… I will not get lazy again!

If its a normal 12 Oz can, it should stay put, but anything else, fuggetaboutit!!!!! And the large chick-fil-a styrofoam cups are going into your passenger/console/you.
I have a new bezel in mine (Metra) from my double dinn install. I think it is slightly deeper and the rubber teeth hold on a little better than stock.

Good deal that the can stayed in place. Not a pleasant thought having to clean up a spilled soda.

I saw the thread title and I thought for sure you were going to find something bizarre literally stuck in your utters while cleaning them out.
Plot twist
They still make Fresca?

Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to ebay or not, but I have something like the following link in my car and it sure helps! Not a total game changer, but no worrying during regular driving at least!

I knew Fresca still existed because there's an award winning show on Amazon Prime called "The Boys". There is a cult in that show that is always offering people Fresca!
