Quick Jack 5000 - but car is too low
Just got the project car back to my garage, and took y’all’s advice and got a quickjack. However, I’m running into an issue that I know should be easy to solve. Wondering what methods or contraptions you guys have come up with for getting the QJ under the car, when the car is super low.
the quick jack claims it needs like 3.5”

If you have a short race jack you can slide under there and jack the car up a little, then let it back down it should give you the needed room. The front tires will move a bit and retain the stance you'll need. Should work anyway. The wood will work too though.

My car is not lowered but I park over my Quickjacks so I use a ramp. Each side is in three pieces with the middle section extending from just behind the front wheel to just in front of the rear wheel. When I need to lift the car I remove the middle section and slide the Quickjacks into position. I only needed a little height so I used 5/4 decking boards but you could custom them to whatever height you need.

^looks like a good solution. Obviously raising the car up a bit would work too, as it looks like there are a number of scrapes already on the rocker panel.

I have the same problem and I'm not quite as low as you lol. Very simple fix though, I literally just bump the car up on top of a small piece of 2x4 at each corner. Just enough wood for the tire to sit on top of is all you need

Mine is a 7000 unit and the car is stock height. I use the larger rubber blocks for lifting the vette.
The rears slide under ok and I just lift the car about 1/4-3/8" with my hand to make the fronts slide in.
If it was lower than stock I can see where you'd have to do something

If your using the lifting pucks AND the short rubber lifting blocks from quick jack then no way will it fit under a lowered C5. Try this before doing the suggested method of driving up onto wood first to give you clearance. The above suggestions are absolutely a great idea and will work but cut 4 pieces of wood 5" x 5" first to replace the short rubber lifting blocks from quick jack then slide it underneath the car and most likely will just fit. This will save you a little money since lumber today is not cheap.
