Need to raise the driver seat height
This is a power seat but I like to sit a little higher up and I have the seat up as high as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions possibly some shims under the track rail.

I put washers under the front tracks. I could only put 3 washers on each stud and still have the nuts grab enough threads and tighten down. It raised the front of the seat about 3/8”..... not much but gave a little more support to my thighs. My .02 cents.

These are not cheap but they sound perfect for your needs.

While these will slightly raise the seat, the purpose of these is so you can mount additional items onto your seat mounting locations and have enough thread to bolt down your seats. Items like a harness bar, or belt mounts or fire extinguisher mounts.

Is the seat cushion foam original? From the factory there was nothing between the support wires and the foam so over time the wires cut into the foam and the seat sinks lower. New foam with something solid, such as jute padding, between the wires and the foam will noticeably raise the seat height. When I redid my seats a few years ago, I was surprised at what a difference it made. Anyway, this might help. Good luck!

I would pull the seat out and put a couple layers of jute between the wires and the cushion. would get you a little height and probably feel better too. Just cut it to the size of the indent for the seat wires. Use a good quality jute probably 1/4 inch. Ive done this on a C6 and I think the seats are built close to the same way. Its on my to do list on my C5 as well.

Either the addition of some jute or new seat foam may give you the height you need. Worth a shot.
