Lovely C5 -- don't spend more time fussing over it than you spend driving it!
My '01 Vert had only 35,000 miles on it when I bought it, at the end of January. Over the past month alone, I added over 7000 miles to that, with a three-week trip out West. I spent the last three days of the trip, and 1600 miles, playing tag with the winter storm that tracked through with me from Denver to western Maryland!
Like yours, though, it cleaned up fine when I got home, and it was "none the worse for wear."
These are GREAT cars, and they're built to be enjoyed. Sounds as though you and your wife know that in your guts.
I'm enjoying it a lot but I think my wife is liking it even more than I am. She's never been in a car like that before, all she can do is laugh if you get into the gas at all. Take care and thanks again.
