Default Another Clay Bar Get Together

Every Wednesday now for a while, a beautification of another's Vette, simple clay barring and detail. This 2000 was already in great shape, just made it purtier...........

Beautiful color. The shine looks a mile deep. Paint appears flawless and blemish free.

It was, I was surprised when I really got a good look at it up on the lift, damn near flawless. Had a few old bird crap blemishes on it, which disappeared after a little light machine buffing with a very mild compound. One of the easy ones.

Lot of contaminants on the hood area, clay bar got quite dirty there.

Purchased from Greg Smith Equipment about 15 years ago for $1195. Current model# Atlas TD6MR, goes up about 54". Works great for my purposes.

Nice job as always. I like the "fog screens" on that car. Not like the typical Z06 screens. They're different, but I like 'em.

It would be the understatement of the year to say great job, and what a beautiful car. Also, you have a beautiful garage!! Anyway, I have a 2000 Torch Red Vert w/black interior. At one point in time I thought magnetic red was only available on the 50th anniversary edition. I realize now they're slightly different colors. But both look great!! When you said you used a mild polish, would you kindly disclose what polish it was? I'm guessing Dupont #7? Again, nice job!!

Thanks. I use for buffing the Menzerna 3500 Super Finish for swirl marks and minor rashes.
