TMOD Lower Box
Has anyone else sent in their stock lower box within the last month and received it back yet? I know the guy stays really busy but initially he told me that it would be about 7 days once recieved to have it back in the mail.
I sent my C5Z lower box off on Oct 23rd and it was received by him on Oct 28th. I've been told on 2 different occasions that it would "be in the mail in a day or 2" in the last 2 weeks. I'm also waiting on the shifter pivot bushing he also makes. I was just seeing if he may be backed up that much, or if ppl have already received their own back this month. (Not his custom Billet boxes btw, stock lower send in only).

He's pretty notorious for shitty correspondence after payment. I felt the same way you do but it showed up eventually.
Hang in there.

I'm trying lol. Its just becoming irritating that 2 weeks in a row i was told it'll be in the mail in a day or 2. I had the last AX event of the year this past Saturday and it was supposed to be back before it. It wasn't. So luckily I had my C6 GS so I was able to pull the MGW shifter from that for the weekend & still make the event

I had the same problem 1 1/2 years ago with him. He kept telling me it’s on the way etc. I finally received it and it was a quality item. I wish he would just be more honest with his promises.

Yea thats all I'm saying. If it's going to take 6-8 weeks, then just tell me that from the start.

Sent mine in on October 28th. Not in a rush, was up front about it. He's been very responsive to every email I've sent usually replying within a couple of hours, next day worst case, save for the initial contact email I sent which went unanswered for a couple of weeks.

Have you recieved yours back yet? And he has responded for the most part. But it was the whole "it'll be in the mail in a day or two" a couple weeks in a row. And I sent an email on early Monday just trying to see what the status was and have yet to hear anything.

Nope, haven't gotten it back yet, but I was up front in that I don't need it back and set no timeline. Tom has responded very quickly to every correspondence I've sent, both before and after payment. There's any number of things that could be causing delays given the current situational climate.

The guy is machining parts from billet as a side job. I paid full price as one of his first customers. Literally hundreds of customers since.
Maybe his cnc needs repair, maybe waiting on a shipment of end mills or bearings, maybe you’re a millennial.
The guy is solid. If he doesn’t make you right, I’ll reimburse myself.
In the future, be more patient.
I’m waiting on a bit to disassemble my Microtech Cypher ($525 switchblade I daily carry that has poor support from the manufacturer), the tracking slip was created on the 21st and yet it’s not actually shipped yet. I could be a dude online or let it go knowing he’s one of the only reliable sources that make a bit to begin with.

I recieved tracking last night on mine. I would say you're not too far behind if you mailed yours off about a week after I did.

The timing of me finally receiving my tracking numbers had nothing to do with the original post.

1/4 mile/AutoX
My experience with TMOD Customs !!! I have e-mailed Tom many times, has always answered with-in 24 hours. Wife and I have three vettes, two have MGW shifters which we love, the third is a AutoX car we run in a stock class so the best option was Tom's lower box (car has 130 k) We sent the box to Tom and he received it the 19th of Nov. he sent me a e-mail saying he received it. yesterday he e-mailed me again with a tracking number and we should get it Sat Dec.12th !!!! so basically less than two weeks, especially during the T-Day week !!!! We are looking forward to see Tom's handy work !!!!
