Hood insulation paint work
Years ago there was a Female on these forums who did paintwork on hood insulation. May have been 15 years ago- not sure. I had an 01 Agostino racing C5 from New York that she had done. Is there anyone out there doing this now? I'm in Indiana and haven't found anyone out here. Wonder what paint was used to hold up in the engine bay heat. Don't want a decal, something more creative if anyone knows of someone thanks

Look into Steve Ray at AirBrush, Inc. He is out of Owensboro, KY. He did the hoodliner on my '03 - one heck of an artist.

Ray is really good from what I have read and seen but this type artistic work is very pricey. I found a local guy few yrs ago that air brushed mine for 75.00 and did an excellent job, nothing fancy just the flag. Google and see what U find in your area.

Deep black, nice solid feel to fibers and excellent embroidery.
Installed with new chrome fasteners.

PaulaH near San Antonio Tx was a popular hoodliner air brush artist. I almost had her do some work for me. But the nature of the hood liner is a fall apart over time, so I went with a complete wrap with embroidery which looks very classy it's super easy to clean and should last an extraordinary long time.

Thanks. They were very flexible in helping me with my design. I had them send me the entire new hoodliner with the wrap already installed and everything. My old liner was in awful shape. One of the best decisions I've made for updating my ride.
