He would need a fuel system also, unless hes good with electronics it would seem about impossible.
OP sell the engine go get a 300 and supercharge it youre better off.
Better yet find a magum?? Wagon those are super cool and I bet down the road will be pretty desirable

The factory unit is going to complain bitterly about lack of sensor input - and the tach runs off that unit. If it's an auto, there are other issues of course. The hellfire ecu also expects to control a trans. I guess someone in Dodge Land would know how to program that out.
Sounds like a long and expensive project to me. Best use of that motor would be in a restomod or similar, where there are no existing electronics to contend with.

Let me second Vetteman Jack, if you decide to go forward, take a ton of photos and post them. 707 HP, no? A solid 200 HP more than an LS7, and more than double an LS1 -- though at a 150 lb weight gain. I should think the torque tube might be interesting to connect -- but it's not like the corvette is the only car to use one.

Just because it might be possible to do something, doesn't mean that you should.

This isn't about logic. everything doesn't have to make sense, some people like the challenge. but you have to be realistic with your abilities. I've seen many corvette swaps over the years, where they get the engine mounted in the bay, which is the easy part, then the project disappears
so know and accept your limits and abilities

I had a 2006 300C back when it was new-ish. Great car. I still think they look good for a large sedan. There's no shortage of them, or parts, so they're cheap. I think that would be a cool build. In a C5 I would stick with the LS platform.

Please do it and start a youtube channel when you do, youll def get followers if videos at all decent. Probably should run a holley or something that can run engine stand alone and potentially talk to stock computer.

I have joked about putting my wife's hellcat engine into my c5. The hellcat is a fun car just being a stock car. That would be a decent amount of work but darn would the car get down well onced it would hook.

Maybe if you had a clapped out junker C5 and wanted to make a race car.
How much does a hellcat engine cost? You can make a ton of power from a LS for pretty cheap these days. I would think it would be more cost effective to build the LS than to swap in a Hellcat.

I have a hellcat-- it's a great engine, but even if it fits (it's actually around the same dimensions as a supercharged LS motor), you'll regret it. It's MOPAR. That means mopar sensors, mopar bolt patterns, mopar.. everything. normally people do the reverse-- dropping a chevy motor into a non-chevy car (I've dropped a zz6 chevy into an '88 cherokee, among others), becuase there are just so many parts, adapters, kits, etc. to do the swap. Going the reverse? My guess would be you're going to have to fabricate a TON of stuff.
My advice .. Sell the hellcat, get either an LT5 (LT5 Supercharged Crate Engine: 19417105 | Chevrolet Performance)
Or even a LS7 or LS3, (around $15k for an ls7, a LOT less for an ls3), and with the spare change, get a roots supercharger on it.
it'll be a helluvalot easier than trying to fab everything you need for the hellcat.

Some dude on youtube put a hellcat motor in a Miata. I think that proves anything is possible lol.
I did in fact put an LSA supercharger on my C5 and that alone makes the LS1 seem twice as big in the engine bay as it really is.

How much more does the engine weigh? You might have a great straight line car but without suspension mods if it is significantly heavier you would lose the C5s weight distribution.

Find another project car for the swap imo. Maybe an older short bed regular cab Dodge truck would be cool. Seems really odd to me to want to put an engine like that in a c5. As mentioned the LS can make that amount of power without all the added expense of trying to swap in another engine make.

Good idea. Nick Arias Jr. passed away 4 years ago, January 2, 2017. The business is apparently closed. The heads were around $5,000 new. There should be some used ones floating around out there. Too bad, he was a great mechanic/engine builder, for over 60 years. Apparently there were no family members who wanted to take over the business. I believe the heads used commercially available parts, though probably very high quality ones, as well as pricey.

From an old time hot rodder, that would be an interesting challenge! If you do go that way, PLEASE KEEP US in the loop of your progress. LOL I've seen Chevy V8's in Volkwagons, 409 Chevy in a Falcon Ranchero , etc, It's the challenge more than makes good sense. No old Hot Rodder cared about what made sense anyway. ;-)
