2019 C5 RoundUp!! LETS SEE EM! MILES & MAINTENANCE!
I know there are lots of threads on this, but as we hit the end of 2019 - lets do a year end check in!
How many miles do you have, and what - if any - repairs have you had to do?
2001 Auto Vert - 70K MIles
Scheduled Maintenance
Oil sender replacement / relo
AC Condsendor
Hazard Switch
Seat Track Rebuilds
Replaced Glass in back window
Drives like a bat out of hell still and hoping to hit 200k miles without anything serious!

2015 C5 of the Year Winner
1998 Medium Pearl Purple, or Majestic Amethyst Metallic, depending on who you ask. Had it since May 2007 with 61K on the odometer. I've done all the routine maintenance stuff throughout the years, some of the C5 typical things that happen with this car when they pop up and some "make it mine" stuff also. It now has just shy of 95K on it and it will go over that in the next couple weekends. This last year I've replaced the A/C compressor and all associated components, radiator, water pump, new wheels and tires, new TPMS sensors, had the front spoiler repainted and a new carbon fiber steering wheel installed.
What it was like when I first got it.
What it looks like today.

Recent maintenance in July 2019 at GM Chevy Dealership.
Coolant flushed and filled
Brake fluid flushed and filled
Rear differential drained and filled
New front and rear brake rotors and pads
New Continental DWS-06 non-runflat tires, new Schrader TPMS sensors, alignment to PFADT street performance specs done at local tire shop in August. New Battery in August. Old one was 6 years old and still working fine. Replaced as preventative maintenance.
No other repairs or parts required up until now. Car runs like a top.

1997. Currently sitting at 32k miles.
I can't think of any repairs in the time that I've owned it. 1.5 years.
I've put 4k miles on it in that time.
Lots of mods though. Currently making 420 wheel on a Mustang dyno N/A
Hoping to make 450 wheel through the winter on the same dyno.

2020 C5 of the Year Winner- Unmodified
2000 FRC- Purchased about a year and a half ago. Pretty much totally unmolested when I got it. New seats right away, and all fluids changed, plugs and wires, lowered slightly.
This year: Borla Quad Cat Back, new rotors and pads, dual CAI, installed Hyperflash unit, just installed nice front turn signals with LEDs (not pictured). The biggy I just went through was a new water pump, thermostat and housing.
117,000 miles, runs great, looks great to me, should be around quite a while.

2003 Electron Blue with 74000 miles.
I order her back in July 2002 and have loved every mile with her.
Routine maintenance, rear differential seal replaced, master cylinder replaced, also been through 5 GM radios... finally upgraded to a nice Kenwood double din. No other issues.

2000 FRC. Purchased as a single owner car with 128k miles. Now has 132k miles. Was 100% stock when I purchased it about a year ago and didn’t need anything. But I can’t leave anything slow/stock, so since then I’ve rebuilt the motor/drivetrain, suspension, replaced interior and well...basically replace everything

1997 purchased 3 months ago w/ 70,500 miles. Now 72,000 miles. It needed nothing (inside or out). I did put a Kenwood DD with Rockford Fodgate speakers and sub.

2000 C5 Coupe-6 speed
Purchased Mar.2004 with 31k on the odometer. Here in the present, it's just a little over 91K.
Routine maintenance
Differential seal-unscheduled
Broken push rod-unscheduled
Column lock issue fixed=unscheduled
Replaced HVAC electronic unit-unscheduled
The car was heavily vandalized not long after I purchased it in '04 but, Kudos to White Auto Body for bringing it back beautifully.
That is a very short list of unexpected failures for the time I've owned it, near 16 years. Without a doubt, it's been the most reliable Corvette platform I've owned.
My 2000 doesn't see a lot of action anymore, it's racing days are over, and so are mine. So, it's regulated to occasional driving. I'm still not finished modding it but, it's taken a back seat for the time being to getting another Corvette restored, and tooling around with my Aston Martin. If I get around to it this year, I've decided to put Caravaggio seats in.
Too many upgrades, mods, and pictures to display all that has been done over the years, virtually everything inside and out has been enhanced.

Drifting
'99 automatic and an '03 Z06
Both stock
The '99
About 35,000 miles, bought it with 12,200 in '14
Replaced harmonic balancer
Seat foam
Fixed air bladders with blood preasure bags
Fixed the rocking seats
Idler pull
Added a clutched alternator pully
Had the windows tinted
LMC5
Lowered on stock bolts
Tires
And I do all the regular maintenance stuff
The '03
About 33,000 miles now, bought with 25,xxx in '17
Replaced the reverse sensor
1 to 4 bypass
Had the windows tinted
LMC5
Tires
Lowered on stock bolts
And just all the regular maintenance.
I'm always amazed at how 2 cars so similar are so different to drive. Both are enjoyable in their own way though.
