I've seen the same type of conversion with a 1962, they look ok but the proportions don't look right in person, but to each his own. Instead of look like a nimble little sports car of it's time it looks cangly where the C5 lines and proportions fit the body shape.

Lone Star Musclecars, a few miles from me, has one of the 61-62 conversions, for sale. It's a beautiful car.

I'll pass on that one.

Melting Slicks
Not my cup of tea but I have seen a few of these, or like, conversions and I admit to being impressed. The examples I saw seemed very well put together with seeming excellent quality. That is what the car hobby is all about, folks getting out there and trying new ideas out.

Safety Car
They should have modified the door skins like the C-2 kits. The sides of the car looks too C-5 ish to mix with the C-1 styling in this kit.
On the up side, it's probably an easier conversion than the C-2 kit. A classic wheel design might help.
