Every time I've been to Corvettes at Carlisle, Saturday was always the biggest and best day.

If possible stay for or enter in the Saturday night parade through town, it's very impressive to see .hundreds of vettes parading through town. Nearly the whole town turns out, even have bands playing. Afterwards the parking along the streets is reserved for Corvette parking so the vettes can be looked over, and the drivers can dine in the many restaurants..

Over the years we went on Friday and Saturday. Both days are excellent!
I don't ever remember vendors packing up on Saturday. Maybe a few, but none that mattered to me.

I always go on Saturday and never noticed any vendors packing up. Perhaps I didn't notice since all the good ones and big names were always doing a brisk buisness on Sat. I only go for the one day since by the day's end I'm walked out and shopped out. Go, you'll be pleased

Went once a couple years back, on a Saturday only. I enjoyed it. Move fast and you can see what you want.
If you plan to shop, especially for older Vette parts, go Friday too.

The first time I went was on a Sunday in 2015. Everyone was packing as I arrived. Now I go on a Saturday. There is plenty to do and have not noticed any vendors leaving that day. If you want to drive in the parade make sure to register early.

Why is it that no matter what is posted, there is always someone who has to put in a negative view on anything! Carlisle is still a great place to go and plenty to see and enjoy no matter when you go. To the OP, yes, on Sunday they are packing up, but Friday and Saturday are peek times so enjoy. I still don't know of a better venue for Vettes than Carlisle

I’ve been going for 30 +years and Saturday is fine with almost every vendor there.Sunday is another story though. If I had to drive any distance I wouldn’t make the trip for just Sunday, seemed like most vendors were packing up real early.

Best days are Fridays and Saturdays. The vendors have helped me immensely and Paul's seminars are worth the trip. Would not miss it.

My personal feelings on Carlisle are this, if you are going to look at cars, it doesn't matter what day you go it's probably not going to be worth it unless you live close. I live relatively close, 2 hours away. The real fun that I have at Carlisle is to hook up with people here on the Forum and then meet up with people there. I have a sister and brother-in-law who live 5 minutes from the fairgrounds. I've often gone to their house and they will just drop me off at the edge of the traffic jam and I can walk in in 3 minutes. Then I'll give him a call and go home when they pick me up and there is a zero lost minutes.
I have met up with scores of other for a members whom I banter with or exchange ideas with here on the Forum, and it is a blast to go and spend the day with a hold group of people parading around the place and having fun. Have a beer, have 10 ice cream cones, make some food in the parking lot, whatever. Enjoy the atmosphere and the company and its worth double the price of admission and then some. If you've never been there, the spectacle alone is worth going to see. It's really hard to convey to someone how big the event is. Guys above said it was smaller than before, well oh, I ain't so sure. There's a shitload of people at Carlisle unless of course it's a rainy day and that will definitely curb the attendance. Last year I didn't feel that I was qualified to attend because I sold my Corvette on Saturday morning of Carlisle. So since I wasn't a Corvette owner I didn't go. LOL but I fixed that a few days later.

Never been to Carlisle, but it is on my bucket list. Good to know that both Friday and Saturday are days worth attending.
