I like that look a lot better than opened all the way up, even with aca's... I have a set of 2.5" morimoto fxr 3.0 that I was going to retrofit into my aca's, would those projectors fit these brackets?... are they going to make shrouds?

Ordered everything for this set-up tonight. I have found my ACA's to be complete garbage, just less smelly garbage when compared to the OEM housings. Excited to not hate driving the Z at night!!!!!!

It's all relative for shitty headlights...my 03Z is MUCH better than my last 95 Camaro...I haven't come to hate the C5 headlights....yet.

After driving a car with a factory HID system, driving pretty much any incandescent-headlight car feels like there's one headlight out.
My C5 is supposed to get out of the shop next week, and the 4eyeC5 setup is going in the following weekend.

Exactly where I am at on it. There is no reason an aftermarket hid solution should be $800 plus, and 4eyec5 proves it. I get why other vendors are nervous about this setup.

They sent me those rear bump pads and i've just been to slammed to get them in. I'm going to install them tonight along with my rear diffuser.

Hoping they work as good as the originals!
[QUOTE=TheRadioFlyer;1599469465]Looking at the bracket design, there's going to be a lot of vibration. Even though it's steel, the projectors have enough mass and there is enough distance between the mounting points that there will be substantial movement. This is why our aluminum bracket has reinforcements welded to top and bottom.
I followed "The Radio Flyer" lights for a long time. The lights are very nice, but the development time and production delays on shrouds was long enough for me to loose interest in paying $850 for these lights. These are a very nice package, but it is hard for me to justify that much money on an 18 year old car.
I was in contact with 4eyec5 this weekend. I decided to purchase there setup.
Ordered everything yesterday. $380 all in. Brackets from 4eyec5 for $178. Four projectors from Summit Racing for $175. HID bulbs from Amazon for $27 ($10 coupon for preloading a gift card).
Everything shipped yesterday. Bulbs and brackets just arrived and projectors should be here later today.

Just ordered kit for 4eyes and I have a question.......I'm already running HID in the low beams with aftermarket headlights. Will this work with the Hellas I don''t see an issue but I could be wrong.........

I have the 4eyec5 kit installed and used HIDs for the low beams and kept the high beams halogen. Your HIDs should work without any issues.

Started the install today. Great brackets and easy installation. They seem super sturdy, the projectors have an excellent cut off, and they look fantastic.
A word of advice for those doing the install in the future.... Take your entire headlight assembly out. It will cut the time in half....and if you don't tighten the bushing bolts on the back of the headlight bracket you can adjust the rise stop easily by checking after each adjustment and removing the bolts to move the assembly for access to the rise stop.
I have a ton of photos, but unfortunately a tab broke off my right headlight bracket so I can't get it buttoned back up until Monday. Thankfully I'm local to Keen's and they have one waiting for me.
I can tell even with the car in the garage these lights are night and day better (see what I did there???) than my ACA lights.

Had mine installed for about a week, and wanted to drive with them a few times before giving my opinion.
Quality of the brackets is awesome. I painted mine black to prevent seeing a silver bracket when the lights are open, however I'm not convinced you would actually notice the stainless at all.
Install is straightforward if you have any mechanical skills at all.
Leave the bucket lids / bezels off to get the light horizontal and vertical settings properly adjusted.
The factory bezels can be trimmed out to simply install around the projectors, but make sure you drill out the holes on the sides to mount the lid, as the bezel and lid must be installed already screwed together.
Light cutoff and brightness is on par with a modern hid / led oem system...and is far superior to any halogen light or ACA system.
The only thing I notice is a small bit of jiggle at highway speeds and only on the reflection from signs. It's a function of how the brackets are mounted, and I'm not sure it could be engineered out of the design or not.
Oveerall, it's a great setup, and in par with the competitor that is over twice the price. I have a neighbor with the other brand, and have compared them side by side.
It has made driving at night actually pleasant again!
