Still my favorite emblem.
After 20 years and 5 vettes...92 C4, 99 C5, 08 C6, 2015 C7.. and now back in a 2003 C5... I still like the C5 emblem most of all. For some reason it just rings out as the true Vette emblem. Maybe it is the portions and the composition of the various elements with appropriate weight and balance. Though liked the emblem on my C7 too. Just not as much. (My random post for the day )

I had a Nassau Blue coupe that I parted with to get my C6. (Note: all of my previous Vettes were blue coupes). Man, I loved Nassau Blue and still do. Still kicking myself for selling it. However, breaking my trend and going with the Anniversary Red convertible certainly has made me happy too! Love the paint color and overall scheme. I've never seen 'normal' paint shift around it's hue depending upon lighting as much as this. And that deep red paint pops to life in direct sunlight with it's gold metallic flecks.
Curves highlighting in late afternoon sun. Such dynamic play in color tone across the entire body.
But... In the light...
Sunlight making the curves spark to life
Still shines up nicely.

I agree 100%. The C5 emblem is perfect. I got the Commemorative edition and it says 24:00 Heures de Mans on it, looks really cool. Shale interior brother here as well.
That’s a beautiful car you got there man. Any old pics of the Nassau blue coupe? Which transmission in these said C5’s?

I agree, I think the C5 logo is the best of the 7 logos.

Yes, the.designers did it right when they made the C5 Logo. I do like the C7 logo too.

Meh. I prefer a cleaner appearance. I left my 50th badges on my previous '03 Z06 because the car was Quick Silver and the colors matched. They blended in. However, on my current EB '03 Z06 they stood out like a sore thumb and didn't match anything. I replaced the front badge with a black one and added carbon flags to look much more subtle. There is no red on my car. I removed the rear badge completely.

I also like the C5 logo best. However.....
As a guy who does graphic arts, I was playing around with the C5 Logo and in my opinion, the logo looked "best" or more "refined" with the flag poles cut off at the bottom (so they just connect to the bottom outter oval but do not extend beyond it) or where the flag pole extend just beyond the oval, but are the same length as the width of the oval where it crosses to match the wiidth of the oval for perfect symmetry.
The long flag poles looks..... too much.
The shorter poles just outside the oval or cropped poles that do not wxtend beyond the oval looks best to me.
