I remember very vividly my return from the Vietnam service to Oakland, CA in 1967 with Americans throwing stones at our military buses calling us baby killers that was taking us to the processing area for going home or to another assignment. Then the same hatred was reflected on me and others when we wore our uniforms in public at our state side assignment. But thankfully, the veterans now enjoy the respect and gratitude from most Americans that they rightfully deserve.
God does bless the United States.

Years ago I had the privilege of attending the dedication of the Ranger Memorial at Ft Benning, GA. The most solemn part of the ceremony was the reading of the names of every Ranger killed in combat.
A banner flew at the ceremony that read,
"All Gave Some
Some Gave All".
Since that day, other names have been added to the pavers leading to the Memorial, and to headstones throughout our great country.
Today we honor those of every branch of the military that "Gave All"!
