Just bought my first C5Z06
I picked up a 2002 C5 z06 with 7000 actual miles last week. Although she is in beautiful shape, I am wondering where I should go to get a replacement for the cracked passenger side rain gutter that its on the car.
I understand that this is a typical problem on these, but I cannot stand to look at it- gotta get it fixed. I looked online on the gmparts website, but their illustrations are such that I am unable to find the exact part for certain. Can somebody help me out here?
Thanks,
steve

I have an 01z and haven't cracked mine yet, I make sure to park the car with the window cracked open (garaged car).
To answer your purchase question:
Buy from GMPartsDirect.com
Moldings:
The old part numbers: 10422996, 10422997
Have been replaced by: 10331562 (passenger), 10331563 (driver)
Additional Parts:
Box of "3m Strip Calk #08578" from O'Reilly $28.07
Tools:
#2 Philips screw driver for the 9 screws that hold the metal on
T-15 Torx screw driver for the 7 screws that hold the plastic on. The T-15 screws go in the oval shaped holes in the side reveal plastic piece. (The round holes are for the philip head screws that hold the metal piece on.)
A small flat head screw driver for gently prying and inserting rubber weatherstrip edge. Also to pry 5 plastic rivets out of rubber weatherstrip ends.
Lots of patience, lots of disposable gloves, lots of paper towels and cloth towels to clean all the black goop off the re-usable parts.

If I were you I'd change the valve springs asap. Just get the latest replacements, which are colored blue, compared to the yellow colored springs you have. These cars have a tendency to break valve springs and the yellow ones which your car almost surely has is suspect.
