Received brand new Kooks X-Pipe - is this normal?
Hi,
just looked into my nex x-pipe and saw this when looking into the back of the pipe.
Is this normal?
I guess I should remove the metal shavings before installation?
Thx

Melting Slicks
Hard to tell from the picture but it looks like weld spatter from when they added the bungs. If that is what it is, it is normal and likely won't come out.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Install the X-pipe and go for a drive.
