Four years ago today I bought my C5!
I flew early in the AM from Chicago to eastern PA. Picked up my 02 with 1,900 miles on it and made the 11 hour 700 mile trip back to Chicago.
I remember about an hour into the trip home I wondered what I had gotten myself into. The car rode terrible. A couple posts on the CF and a few days later new Hankooks fixed that problem!!
I also remember not touching the radio almost the entire ride home. The PO had installed a Corsa Indy Pace and those sounds were better than an stereo to me.
A few minor mods later and the smile hasn't left my face every time I see it. Now the mileage is just under 7k and today it gets treated to a RedLine Goods steering wheel!
How time flies when you're having fun!

Congrats on finding such a pristine, low mileage Vette four years ago. And congrats on the anniversary - hope the car gives you miles of smiles for a many more years.

Corvettes never get old, boring or out of date. Love your car

I have the exact same shirt as your wife at home. I also got my vette about 4 years ago, but I've put about 8 times more mileage on it than you, so you better start trying to catch up!

Trust me I wish I could drive it more! I spend 100+ nights a year on the road. I do what I can!

Good color choice. I would have been a little concerned about the lack of use of that car by the previous owner. I gather that you haven't had problems with it.
I'm now entering my 4th year of ownership but use mine as my DD. I had the same issue as you with the funky handling until I ditched the OEM runflats and put on the Hankooks. What a difference!
Has the mod bug bitten you yet? I thought the concept was ridiculous until . . .
