ZR1 all day. I may consider a grand sport c7 but honestly I think I would be happiest with a c5z and a c6zr.

Nothing against the C7's- the Grand Sport is a beautiful machine. I just can't fit in the damn things.

Sorry, OP, my pics are not on the list so I'm going to break the rules to answer:

2013 427 vert (gonna be collectable)
C2 small block manual vert (most beautiful vette ever - IMHO)

I could see that possibly. I am just not a vert guy.

I have been talking to the dealership on the ZR1. Its in Miami so the opposite end of the state from Destin. The other GS sold a day ago. Not surprised with the asking price. Never even got a shot at either of those.

I have a couple days off coming up soon. I see a road trip ! 50K for a 26K mile car. I might need to drive a rental down lol.

Not sure how you will ever drive your C5 again if you get a ZR1, that acceleration has to be addictive. tuff problem to have to choose

His will be slower until he gets his own supercharger

In all seriousness the wide body cars look awesome and the ZR1 backs it up with super car performance. it's a no-brainer IMO

Good luck

That's the trouble with everything, even a TV. You get used to looking at a 50 inch screen and then you wonder how you ever looked at the 27 in. ones we had for years. Then get a 65 in. and again everything less than it looks small too. I would really hate to spend a ton of money on a faster Vette to only make my C5 feel slow after a while.
Personaly for me and I'm 69 which is a big factor, I think if I was going to get another Vette and keep this one it would be something C2 Vintage and know I pretty much understood what it takes to fix it and such. And of course the nostalgia factor for me at my age with them, although I've never had one.
I'd just be kidding myself it I ever thought I need anything faster than this 2003.
I wouldn't be afraid to bet Richard Petty would probably say the same thing too now even with his abilities but he would buy it in a heartbeat just because he can

It won't be that much slower in a straight line, with the new SAFE fuel system from NX the Z will be over 600 to the tires with the 200 shot lol.

Damn having to start modding from scratch again
