Yours members say its under the passenger footwell or where they have there left foot.the only thing thats in mine is that computer and heater motor.If they could tell me where is it from that computer.Could it be under it.Mine went out and I have a new one.But don't know where the old one is.

This would be a question for the C5 forum, as a 2000 is a C5 and not a C6.

If its a Non-Bose system, its located under the carpet in the passenger footwell. If its a Bose system, each door speaker has a separate amp.

If you get under the drivers foot well, look up where the radio is to the middle, and you will see it.

In my 1999, with foot on gas, it is to the right of your toes and up about two inches. With dash pad off, it is between instrument cluster and the a/c unit and down about two inches. It is gold colored.

For a C5 corvette the radio amp runs the 3.5" twidlers and rear speakers. There is an amp in each door speaker pod for the 8" woofer. The box above the gas pedal is the Bose signal processor.

What is wrong with the system in your car?
Also where are you located, ther may be a member in your area that can help with install. If you are in southern California I would be willing to help.
