Default Shipping cargo mat question

i bought a cargo mat off fleabay. From the pics it looked good. Package arrives today in what I would call the wrong size box. Seller had to roll it up then fold over in order for it to fit. I open the box and unfold everything and the mat has kinks down the middle. Will the kinks eventually work themselves out or are they now permanent and this thing is junk. I have attached pics from the original auction, shipping box, and how it looks now. Your thoughts?

If I remember correctly, my Lloyds cargo mat or floor mats came rolled up. They smooth out after a short time. That's assuming your mats were similar to mine and packaged the same way.

Flip it over and use a steam iron. If you lived down the street, you could use my steamer..\wet a towel, put the iron on steam, lay the wet towel on the back side crease and keep the iron slowly moving, they will come right out.

Rolled up is one thing but the P said this guy folded them and now has kinks. The should have been rolled up and put in a shipping tube.

automotive upholstery shops all use steam to take out kinks in fitted carpet and seat skins.

Smh. Don't even know how I missed that. I stare at that emblem every time I wash the car.

Seller is a real piece of work. Immediately got defensive and started in with name calling. Auction stated no returns but he misrepresented the item. Clearly stated c5 fitment. I'm not going to waste my time with the guy. I'll just steam the kinks out and resale it. Didn't pay that much for it anyway. Hell might even turn a profit.

Not that it matters but I wasn't looking for cheap. I Was strolling through, saw the item, set my max bid which was more than I paid, and left it alone. Didn't reelaize I had won til a day or 2 later. I'm going to take advantage of the sale that a vendor is currently running and be done. Thanks all for the help and advice. This forums is always helpful.

I purchased a set of C5 Lloyds mats from RPI Designs and received them in a nice box that allowed them to remain flat and wrinkle free.
