Keyed :-(
Oh, to have 30mins with the person that did this to my 99 this morning. Nothing hollows out your faith in fellow man like having this done to your pride and joy.

A couple months after I bought my new '98 Outback a dirtbag keyed it at work. Too bad they didn't have parking lot cameras yet.

I had that happen to my 68 442 with Custom paint when I was young, it was devastating to me, could not understand why someone would do that. As I got older I realized some people are just morons !!! So Sorry it happened to you. One of the reasons I don't like parking mine much !!!

This is why God made baseball bats ( besides playing baseball)! There is no beating administered that is severe enough in my opinion. Every goblin made an example of perhaps saves an innocent citizen in another time and place. There is nothing more effective than some timely and severely administered street justice to give a goblin a new perspective on victimizing good folks. Things are getting bad and the future looks no better. Just my opinion, but I'm not wrong. Everyone take care and be safe!

This is why I am very selective where I park and leave my Vette to whatever. No to shopping centers, Wallyworld, Target, Malls, convenience stores, and any place I feel these Neanderthals would likely be. I realize it is just a car but it does attract some real low life’s. Hopefully it will not be too expensive to repair.

Cost to Repair
Thanks very much for the support guys. Got home from work and my 12yr was in tears for me 'cos he knows how much I love that car. Bless him :-)
Anyway, I went to a local body shop on the way home, a place that did good work for me previously. He quoted $562 all in, and then went on to explain the process of removing mirror, window trim and door handle. I told him I'd do all that (except the BSM), and he dropped to $300.
Expensive day, but not a bad price I guess.
Andy
PS, when the works done I'll come back with a photo and will mention the bodyshop.
