RazinKane69 you made the right choice. My wife has a 2012 2SS Camaro for her daily driver and we both like the car, but we also have a C5 Corvette and the ride, handling, and fun factor are definitely greater in the Vette. If we could have only 1 of them, it would be the Vette.

Great choice and nice looking C5. Congrats!

Not bad, now lets get rid of those wheels and put some good looking exhaust on there...

The exhaust tips will def be one of the first things to go. And I will try to trade the wheels locally for a set of black ones if possible.

I have a C5 Z06, (422hp) and I just picked up a 2013 Camaro ZL1 with 9k on it, lightly modded, (647hp). I love my Z06 but this ZL1 does everything better.

Good call on the wheels. That's a really hot looking 'Vette, BTW.

Yeah, I think black would look better with the color combo than chrome. Guy I bought it from said they were plasti dipped black at one time and showed me a pic, looked a little better. But I won't plasti dip them.

That is sexy man, but I don't have that much to swing with me just buying a new truck and a new baby who just came yesterday. Maybe one day though! Just have to stay optimistic!

Thanks! With the truck new and currently a project of lifting it, I decided to just get the Vette. It's paid off, insurance is lower, and it's still fun as he**! Just a decision I had to make, and I really don't regret it. Not my only problem is garage space!

Good call!!!!! Zuti

They are a different class of cars. There is a lot you can do with with the C5 suspension, for cheap, to make it handle as good as anything. Same with the engine.

The C5 weighs a half ton+ less and sits lower. They are made of completely different materials.

The C5 is older and less expensive but with basic hand tools and a few thousand, you can bring it up to date.
