RazinKane69 you made the right choice. My wife has a 2012 2SS Camaro for her daily driver and we both like the car, but we also have a C5 Corvette and the ride, handling, and fun factor are definitely greater in the Vette. If we could have only 1 of them, it would be the Vette.
Great choice and nice looking C5. Congrats!

That is sexy man, but I don't have that much to swing with me just buying a new truck and a new baby who just came yesterday. Maybe one day though! Just have to stay optimistic!

Thanks! With the truck new and currently a project of lifting it, I decided to just get the Vette. It's paid off, insurance is lower, and it's still fun as he**! Just a decision I had to make, and I really don't regret it. Not my only problem is garage space!

Drifting
Well I drove the Vette yesterday, and fell in love. It's not perfect, but in great shape for an 18 y/o car. Needs some cosmetic work, especially the front end with some pretty good size paint chips. But from my experience with my old F-Body's, it's very common. I made the guy an offer and drove it home. I tried to post pics, but for some reason it wouldn't let me.

Safety Car
They are a different class of cars. There is a lot you can do with with the C5 suspension, for cheap, to make it handle as good as anything. Same with the engine.
The C5 weighs a half ton+ less and sits lower. They are made of completely different materials.
The C5 is older and less expensive but with basic hand tools and a few thousand, you can bring it up to date.
