Mom stuffs kids in trunk

The PC police need to get over themselves. If that were the most dangerous thing you ever did as a kid, you led a very sheltered life.
Me? I shouldn't even be here after all the stupid s&*t I did.......

Back in the day my mom I'm sure had a cigarette or two while
Feeding me, you would never condone that same act today.
Defending her would be similar to questioning the validity of
Car seats when bringing a new born home, even though most of us
Were in our moms arms on the during our first ride home.
Times change, so should she. PC police is irrelevant

She wasn't too concerned about the safety of her kids apparently.

Very misleading title by the dishonest media. Our cars don't have the same trunks has most other cars. There is a window and anyone can move from the rear to the front. This woman was reported probably because someone saw the kids in the back through the back window. This is basically the same as if she had not put seat belts on the kids.

I just shutter to think how the human race didn't end during the 60's and 70's when we were growing up. Doesn't anyone remember life before seat belts? Car seats - WTF were those? Everyone loading up in the family station wagon and the kids rolled around in the far back and played games? Or, the back of a pickup? I mean, I recall crushing in the back of my Dad's Vette more than once, and it was a blast. And to think, we actually made it through childhood?
I'm damn floored that this got any press at all. Yeah sure, if the kids were being tossed around, and were crying, essentially the kids being abused, throw the book at her. But, I have no doubt the kids were having a blast, so give her a ticket just like you would any person with a kid without a car seat. Publicly shaming her in the national media, really? It's amazing what a PC world we've come to.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seat belts, car seats, etc, but come on. Get a little perspective. Of course she's laughing because this whole thing is a joke.

This could go round and round ad nauseum. Yes we survived lots of things, but the world is different now, and I dont give a flaming rat's behind about PC. Bottom line is that it just takes one hard stop and those kids become projectiles.
