I swear my vette is a dirt magnet. I wash and detail it then maybe take it out once and let it sit. How often do you wash your vette. Ut seems like every c5 as well as c5z i see in my area is dirty. <br >

Mines not a DD. I have been using Chadwick's this year and have liked the results. Give it a quick wipe down when I take it out.

Just about every time we drive it... we've put on 20k miles in two year and don't drive it in the winter very often... northern oklahoma and in the middle of farm country/oil fields ... so it is DIRTY.

Mine is a DD. I use a spray on it about twice a week. It stays pretty clean.

Once or twice a year, but wipe it down everyday with either Zaino or Chadwicks.

My Z is my DD, black, live in a dry/dusty city... so once every 2 weeks or so?
Said it before, I'll say it again; to me dirty black looks better than any other color clean any day of the week.
That said, I should wash it a bit more often.

Once a week right now. I started drying it with a large microfiber towel and that helps a lot to keep it cleaner longer. Before I was drying with a normal towel, then wiping with microfiber. Drying it with the microfiber is a big upgrade

by the title of this thread it seems you assume all of us Vette owners are guys. I would bet some are women.

That said, I wash mine when it needs it and i have the time. Often times those two worlds do not collide. I like to use the Cali Duster when it is appropriate. My vette is black. 30 seconds after i wash it it has somehow collected dust and pollen.

I don't wash my C5 every time I drive it, but if it was just a short drive I do wipe the dust off the car each time. I wash it probably every third time or so, but it really depends on how far I drove the car and how dirty it got.

I wash as often as needed if schedule allows. Usually 2 times every 3 weeks. I spray wax after every wash and if time allows I follow it up with a coat of miguiars liquid gold class.

I wash my vets on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, if necessary. Unless you're talking about my dog's doctor. I don't wash him at all. My Vettes I wash usually only if I get caught in the rain and they get road dirt all over them, or if they are due an annual waxing.

I tried to wash her once, she got very pissed off and put up a hell of a struggle while the cat sat there and stared blankly at us.

Wash once a week, wipe with Zaino detail spray daily. Not a Daily Driver so it stays relatively clean. I wash it to get the dirt out of the wheel wells etc... I use a Master Blaster to dry it, this helps avoid scratching.

Usually once or twice a month. I drive mine regularly when it's not raining. I only wash when she's looking particularly dusty or got a ton of bugs over her usually I can go a week or two and she looks pretty clean.

I live in east Texas where red dust seems to be everywhere, except in pollen season, then everything is covered in light green. My black vert is not a daily driver, gets out once or twice a week. Usually resides in the garage with a cover over it. Washed about once every month or so. Whenever returning from a drive I use a california duster followed by a wipedown with Mcguires detail spray. Love the look of a black vette but what an incredible pain in the *** to take care of. Have a good one!

It's only been 6 weeks but I've washed it once, more of a rinse, never even put the top up.

It's not driven in the rain and bugs know better than to get in the way.

The one time I did wash it, I swore it was cleaner than any car I owned prior to the wash.
