Right now the paint is new and everything works for a change. Might be a good time to pass it on to someone else.

Yes, I'm in a bad mood.
I'm feeling the same way, came from a DD Z28 to...

Don't drive in the rain or when there is more than a 5% chance

Restaurants are a joke unless I can see it and get a corner spot (let her out then snuggle passenger side as close to a bush, brick wall, Windows, anything without opposing doors, giving person that has the nerve of parking close to me ample room to open their door.

If it wasn't for the other guy living 1600 Kms away (I went further to by my Vette but aren't doing that again). I'd be driving a 2010 Hemi Challenger with twice the mileage with a couple of $'s in my pocket. He wanted mine and I wanted his.

This is exacerbated by the fact my DD is a sunfire that is anything but sporty.

Sadly not in a bad mood, feel this way most days (more so when it's cloudy)

Maybe once or twice a year and when I do it's a light rinse. I only put on around 2k/year and have only been caught in the rain twice. It only gets used for car club events and short cruises with the wife and friends. I've learned to put on the car cover when parked in the garage to minimize dust.
I use the California Duster and Meguiars Quick Detailer before or after use. I also dust the engine and wheels after each use. 2-3 times per summer I wax and polish the car using Maguiars or Adams products.
2x/year I remove the wheels and detail them along with the wheel wells.
I know that I've got a serious case of OCD which my wife reminds me of frequently.

There seems to be a lot of that in this asylum.

I never wash my car. I use Chadwick's Triple Play. My friend wouldn't listen and washed his car. Here's the result:

Never washed my '98 (or drove it in the rain) in the 15+ years that I owned it. I've already washed my Z06 twice. I've decided to turn over a new leaf.

Check out the no-rinse method. I wash my car in about 15 minutes. I probably do it once or twice a week. I put about 1,000 miles/month on it. No-rinse absolutely produces no scratches if done properly.

Haven't washed it since last fall. It's injured and I haven't fixed it yet.

I'm driving around 200-300 miles per week since I just picked it up a few weeks ago. I ran a clay bar over it and 4 coats of zaino. Now I just pull into a car wash and use the rinse cycle followed by spot free a couple times a week to take bugs off. Once a week I'll actually wash with zaino and follow up with z6.

I've started using my backpack leaf blower to dry the car off (neighbors probably think I'm nuts) but it makes life easier...lol

I am averaging about once every 3 weeks. I try not to touch the paint unless its getting washed. I seldom drive mine and typically after a wash and zaino it sits covered in the garage until I drive it.

Mines a DD. Once or twice a week unless it is driven in the rain, if so I wash it as soon as the weather clears. My driveway is long and not paved so mine gets dust like there's no tomorrow. California duster FTW, saves some washes but still needs water to get it spanking clean and it won't do the wheels which mean as much to me as the body.
