Are there any updates on the status of this hood?

Default Update- C7 stingray style hood Review

I bought the first hood at a discount price which was too much for the junk that was shipped to me. Be aware the seller does not see these products he represents before they ship from "manufacturing". He told me this over the phone. The hood was made from a cut up mcm extractor style hood, poorly grafting a c7 loover set on. The arc @ the sides for fender match up is low on passenger side, the front is 3/8 in.too thick not just an align issue. This is because it has been skinned on to the old style mcm hood structure. The with is 1/4 in. each side too narrow = 1/2 in. overall. Now the good news it can be fitted w/ a lot of work approx. 10 hrs. I own a fiberglass fabrication, mold making & high end repair shop so this is hard to argue with. That is the only reason is stuck my *^(*& out and took a chance on this. By the way this hood could be folded in half w/ about 15 lbs. pressure due to the poor craftsmanship & lack of materials used when laminating the top c.f. skin over the randomly butchered under structure. I can post pics of the poor quality but I think I will just move on since the fix does not cost me much. Hope this helps & sorry for the long delay, but @ first I was so p.o.'ed I would had been choked by the mods on here. pm for any specifics on this. All said & done I love my re- worked & upgraded c7 stingray style hood. This is not a bash @ Pete so don't take it like that. I think he needs to be more involved ie hands & eyeballs on the items he sells.
