Default gauges not working

I started my 97 up today. It has been garage kept since October. After starting I found that none of the gauges are working but everything else is. Battery was low when I started it. Any ideas?
Thanks.

You answered your own question, make sure the battery is fully charged.

Are you using a battery maintainer while not using the car? If not it would be a good idea to start using one. Once the battery if fully charged set your DIC to display average miles per gallon, then shut it off, go out two or three days later and start the car, if your DIC displays the cars mileage and not avg. mph you should pull the battery and have it load tested. These cars do not like fluctuations in voltage.

I just put one on today. I will check it out in a week or so.
