I am going to plasti-dip them black, If I don't like it after awhile I can always remove the plasti-dip and return them to their original chrome, Thanks for all the replies and suggestions guys. No harm done in expressing your honest opinions, I really appreciate it, CorvetteBob...

I'm 54 and am not really a fan of all chrome or all black wheels...but for your car, I'm leaning towards the black without the yellow lettering.
I prefer black wheels with some kind of contrasting rim, lugs and center cap. Otherwise they tend to get "lost" in the wheel well IMHO.

I'm way over 50 and I like the black, but then you should also do the black out kit on the rear and daytime front lights. That would look cool.
p.s...I just ordered black rims and already did the blackout kit, and I painted my screens black too, but I wanted a change...it can always go back! But no Jake stickers...lol

Not sure what age has to do with it, but I'm 68, and when I was shopping for a car I didn't look at anything that didn't have black wheels.

Second be sure to watch DYC videos on dipping your wheels, great advice on updated methods.
One big hint I just found that works great is heat your Plastidip in a pail of warm water before using, much smoother finish !!!
I just did the black out thing on any chrome I had but on the fence about doing the wheels

I've always liked the polished OEM wheels, until I just installed zinc plated rotors. Now it looks like too much silver. So I'm thinking of getting my gumby's powder coated black.
