Default New to Me Wheels and Tires Installed...

Got my New C6 Wheels and Tires Installed ...WOW Big difference between non run flat and run flat tires...and going up in size helps also...got these C6 split spokes and tires from a forum member...Great Guy Great Service...Thanks nyc1moe (ED)...
Funny thing is these do not have the (TPMS) Senors in them and I never got a Error message at all...I even bought a Set to install ...Strange...But I like the wheels...

Lol, at least she saved the rest of the car for you.

C6 wheels have a slightly higher offset in the back, you can push them back out with small spacers if you desire.

Looks great . . .out of curiosity . . .what did you have to pay for the wheels/tires? How many miles on the tires? Did you have them rebalanced or just put them on yourself?

I got the Set Shipped to the house for 1k and I put them on myself...I will take by the tire shop and have them Balanced ..I also have a Set of TPM sensors to install in them...tires only had a few thousand miles on them....Like New...just installed fall last year...the Guy I got them from just installed some new wheels and tires on his C6
Worked me a Great Deal...and I have already sold my old wheels and tires...so came out pretty good..

Yea I would Like them to come out just a touch...just don't know anything about rear spacers...which ones are best and don't want any safety issues by having them on the car...Input...??

That's definitely opening a can of worms as some people swear by them and others won't touch them.

5mm is about as large as you can go on stock studs. Any more, and you'll need longer studs or adapters instead of spacers.

Understand.....I got these wheels and they did not have the TPM's in the wheels...I was expecting to have to hit the reset button when I got in...it threw no error codes at all to the dash...???? is that something different with the C5 by any chance...I did buy a set to install in the wheels figured everytime i got in the car the service TPMS would be on...

I think the C6 uses different sensors than the C5, but I could be wrong on that. 2001-2004 sensors are the same. I'm surprised that you have no error messages on the dash if there are no sensors at all in the wheels.

I've never had a Corvette with TPMS, but on my other cars it usually took 25-30 minutes of driving to get TPMS failure messages on my dash. Maybe he just hasn't driven it enough?
