Default Just bought a "like new" 2002 Z06, pics

Electron Blue with two-tone black and red interior. 19K miles, perfect condition, 100% original-stock. This will be my 9th vette, but 1st z06. Looked at several c6 z06's and other c5 z06's, but this one took the cake! I will post up more pics when I can...

Beautiful car and color. You did good and the mod red interior with Electron Blue exterior is quite rare. I also like the polished wheels, just the right amount of "bling".

Looks great. I didn't know they had stock rims like that. They look perfect for it. I want a set.

Bingo, yes they are. I found out that there were only 47 electron blue with red interior/ z16 wheels cars ever made. if my research is right, it's rare!

Welcome to the z06 family. You made a smart move the c5 z06 is the best car for the money hands down. Beautiful choice. I just bought my 2nd z06 03 torch red 22k last spring. Had to sell my 02 z06 years back. Never going to sell my current one. Enjoy it my friend!!!!

So true....I have had two c6 vettes, and loved them, but the C5z06 is just plain raw and fun to drive. My favorite vette ever...9 vettes and the c5 z06 is the best sports car you can ever have, vette wise, for the money.

Make sure you do one if only one upgrade thats a must. The c5 z06 is known for valve spring failure. No rhyme or reason to it no matter miles or mods 02-04 z06 is at risk. Maybe it will go 100k without a issue maybe 5k more miles. Change your OEM valve springs its just not worth the risk to drop a valve and toast your motor. Im going with the PAC 1218 which is the best spring if your going to stick with the stock cam. My 03 z06 only has 22k and as soon as spring comes and it comes out of storage its the first thing im doing. They say the 02 z06 like yours is at the highest risk for failure. Trust me change your valve springs asap. PAC is the best hands down also. So if your keeping it fairly stock go with the PAC 1218

Rare or not you can still drive it and keep it nice ,I drive my 04 Z-16 now has 70,000 on it and still win Corvette shows with it don't just put it in the garage and look at it . I see lot's people do that ,just saying.. Very nice C-5 ... A friend just found and took it home a C-5 Z with 28,000 miles on it still some nice ones around..

Please DO tell what a car of this caliber is pulling from a dealer these days! I can't see you payin less than 22k for it, but I really hope you paid 28k. A car that looks that good, that can still pull good money from a buyer is a very good sign.
