Hello, the op didn't ask for anybody's opinion. He just asked if anyone knows how he could acquire them. my silver 01 had them when i bought mine, i think they look quite nice. by the way they are stainless steel.

Where did I say I like the "blacked out" look or black wheels? I don't like that either. I prefer painted wheels or polished wheels on sports cars. They are typically lighter and therefore better performing wheels in my eyes. I understand we come from different eras, but when I see or hear the term "chrome wheels" I typically think of trucks with 26" wheels or wheels that have designs like flowers or other non-classy looks.
Oh yeah, I love foreign cars, especially German and Italian ones
I love my chrome wheels. And I assure you they are not super heavy.

Exactly. In all the years that I've been on CF, I've NEVER asked for opinions or advice on the looks of my car. I have hit up the performance guys for some advice but when it comes to the way she looks, I only try to please one person and that's the person that bought the car (me). It seems like almost every one of these "what do you think of this" threads turns into a love em or hate em debate. In this case, the OP didn't even ask for opinions, just where they could be purchased. Sigh.....

After all, they are going on your Corvette, not theirs.
I really like the look.
Every other Vette has the plain jane look in the rear.
I like the chrome trim look.
It adds a distinctive, non conformist look to the rear.
It is different ,and that is one of the things I like about them
Doesn't look like everybody elses vette.

I think they belong on ricers and foreign cars (where the fad started in the first place). Off the soapbox...
This reminds me of an old Buick special (compact car of the day) handed down to me from my mother. Immediately, it took the hub caps off. Even her better hand me down 6 month old 1968 cougar was stripped of the staid looking wheel covers. ...and my dad was really pleased with me when I drilled holes in the mufflers and wasn't any happier when I finally could afford cherry bombs!
I like black and I like chrome... but for me, on the Corvette, I like to SHINE! ...and even more so this time of year!
I going out right now to see if I can find some more chrome to put on my "Maggie" She likes it

Unlike others here, I won't tell you those things are hideous and not worthy of being on a Corvette.
Having said that, I have a set that was on my black 03 coupe when I bought it this summer. I would be glad to pass them on to a loving owner. They're at my place in Seattle and I won't be back there until the holidays, so if you can wait that long I can send you detailed photos. If I remember, they're in very good shape although one has a small bit of pitting in the chrome.
I also have the piece of stick-on middle brake light chrome. I've left the license plate/backup light bracket on the Vette because I think it dresses up a fairly boring part of the car (go ahead and slay me for that, gang).

Following up to see if you're still interested. I just got back to Seattle where I have those pieces and took some photos. There are a couple of small places where there is some pitting. Otherwise they're bright, shiny and solid.

Someday they will come back in style and boy will you guys be sorry. If nobody wants them, I'll put them in a box and save them next to all my polyester leisure suits and 8-tracks.
I am finding that non corvette owners like the look of the chrome trim.
I have had many compliments about the trim.
The one person who said he didn't care for them was a fellow corvette owner I met last week in a shopping mall parking lot.
He loved the color, and condition of the car,but when he walked to the rear of the car, his first words were, "those have to go".
I replied, "not gonna happen".
