Car bluetooth question
I have a 2002 Corvette convertible. I would like to have a bluetooth stereo, cd, dvd, phone, etc system installed. Like the Sony XAV-602BT but I'm told it would not fit. If this is true are there ones by SONY or another company that would work. Thanks.

A double din radio, dvd, gps, etc can be installed. The radio bezel has to be modified to make it work and many have done it. I have a unit from Double D Mods that does everything you need. They will modify your bezel and ship everything needed to accomplish your install. They are a sponsor here and can be contacted through the link below.

+1 on contacting Dennis at Double D Mods. He can certainly set you up.

I'm looking at the same situation: '02 black vert. I've checked out Double Din and they look pretty good. Seem to have long waits for modifying bezel and shipping back. But I need bluetooth when I drive so it may be worth it. If you don't need Nav they have a good sale on a Sony unit right now.

I went with a Kenwood 691 from Dennis. The Bluetooth works great and I can make phone calls even with the top down. I like the manual volume button on the left. It is much easier to use while driving than the screen control. The Garmin is also a great feature. I have kept the stock speakers for now, sound is still much better than the stock radio.
