Dimensions of jacking points - planning for a C5Z AND a MaXJax!
Hi folks, I am planning the install of a MaxJax in my 2 car attached garage. Although I don't own a C5, I plan on picking up a C5 Z06 next year and want to be able to lift it. What are the dimensions of the jacking points on the car as listed below?

The current stable includes a 2001 BMW 540i with an LS swap, my 2009 Subaru Outback XT, and wife's 2007 Audi A4. Right now it's easy to plan for those vehicles as I just roll them in and move the columns around until I find a combination that works for all vehicles.
Thanks!

My 2001 540i with a 6.0 iron LS and T56, columns just mocked up. This is with 110" spacing, it's just on the borderline of being too close, I need to space out the columns while still leaving them close enough together so that my wife doesn't bash the left column with her car during winter months.

Anybody got a few spares minutes and a tape measure handy on this nice Sunday?

They're available on eBay or any of the Corvette suppliers...

I set my max-jax at the maximum recommended width...C-5 is wide. It still works great with my wifes Cruze. I have also used it on a jeep XJ, land rover disco and my sonoma with no issues.

What distance is yours set at, measuring from the backs of the columns? I am thinking of doing about 115". Don't have much more width to spare.

If your spending the coin on that cool jacking system I'd splurge on the Elite Engineering frame sliders. I have a set and love them. First thing I bought for my car.

quick follow up - I got my Max jax installed late last year and bought an FRC early this year, here's the result
Here's one with the car on the ground. It's so low that you need to rest the tires on wooden blocks to be able to get the arms out from under it. Also, due to the spacing I chose for the columns, the front arm contacts the jack pads inboard of the pad on the arm, but I just pad it with a rag and it works fine.
I'm very happy with the result, it's easy to roll around on a stool underneath and work.

Glad to help. There wasn't much info on closely spaced columns working with C5s.

I would recommend that. I don't remove the center (left) post ever, but due to the narrow spacing, I have to postion the car width-wise between the columns, leave it in neutral, and roll it into position. Can't open the door when the car is in the lifting position.
