Don't knock all new jeep owners, I've had at least 10 jeeps of every kind over the last 50 years and my new 2015 Renegade Trail hawk may be the best one yet on the beach! It also gets 30 mpg on the highway which beats my restored XJ by at least 10 mpg.

I was the guy who did the stalking... Now I get a Christmas card from him, every year.

I saw a nice, blue, C7 Z06 at a light recently. I pulled up next to it, and thought "Oh, he is going to be ready to go", I looked over expecting to see a guy alone, around my age, instead I saw a Sr. citizen couple that looked like they were terrified of their car.(they looked unhappy, and very tense, no smiles or wave) lol I just smiled and waved. Light changed, and I just proceeded normally, I looked back and they were barely moving.

Who cares
When I see a corvette coming my way, I wave. I don't hurt myself to see if it was returned. You don't know the person behind the wheel of that corvette or do I care. They may not have a clue why a stranger is waving to them.

it's the Corvette, not you...
I always wave, if I see a Corvette approaching. I like the idea of respecting each other's Corvettes, of all generations.
Some, get confused and think I'm waving to you. I don't give a rats *** who is driving, or owns the car. It's the car I admire!!! The Corvette.
Not you!
So, for the C7 owners who think anyone envy's them; no, we don't. Some love the C7 Corvette as well as our own generation Corvette. But we don't give a **** about you, at all !!! It's the car; get over yourself .

There are no laws , and no rules... its just a courtesy.. There are too many issues to get all upset over a wave.... Personally, I've been waving for 50 years. I've never felt cheated if someone did not wave... If they do , its great.. if they don't, its not a big deal. At least to me.

I try to wave regardless, but sometime I just don't see another vette in time. And I'll confuse you and wave when I am in my suv
There is a c7 owner in my area that actually turned around and followed me to the post office to apologize for not waving in time....wanted to make sure I wasn't offended by the lack of a wave...

I met a C7 Z06 owner at a rest area in Utah. Salt of the earth great guy. Was very interested in seeing mine as well as his. He came over from a Porsche and was not super familiar with vettes. Most of the C7 people I have run across have been terrific and a part of the culture. I have found car people and gun people to usually be the first to help you and just good people.
