Default Art car C5, covering the car in free-hand art, via sharpie

I plasti-dip this car regularly, and a few days ago, I was thinking about the next color I was going to put down, when I decided...why not sketch out the ENTIRE car...right? This car will be covered, every inch, with sharpie art! Big project I know, don't talk about it, be about it right? I have one leg in the fire suit here, I know it's "progressive" (if that tastes better going down) but I don't know a better way to make it mine, than cover it my own art haha. Also, since it's plasti-dip, it can be peeled, 100% reversible.

This is going to be a long running project, so, feel free to stay tuned!

Just with what you have done so far, you've got some real artistic talent. Looking forward to seeing the car as you go along.

Thank you all it's a labor of love, as I'm sure you all know I'll leave this here then. This is what is going to take over the entire area on the lower-rear-drivers fender, right behind the wheel, in a more completed fashion of course.

One from today. I think I want to make the center-high mount tail light, the centerpiece to this (what will be) Victorian style picture frame around the "Corvette" ensconced on the rear bumper. Another 2 hours of work there to get it all even on all 4 corners

It's very cool... but, I'd like to see more tribal type art on the C5... something that Conner McGregor would drive...

Very Sharp

Just one thing....I'm pretty sure Sharpie ink fades in sunlight....

Sanford, the Sharpie makers used to sell a specific Sharpie called a garden marker that was designed specifically for Garden Centers and had a different formulation that was U.V resistant.

I normally gag at things like this but I must say I like what you are doing. And, it can be removed at any time to change the theme or whatever.

Very talented.

I guess I'm the only one willing to **** in your cheerios, but it looks like tagger art, and that base color you chose makes me ill. Your car, and your time, so have fun.
