Major withdrawal !!!!
Ok folks, it's been over
two months without doing anything to my vette, other than keeping it clean and shiny and driving it !!!! Been toying with adding the flat stick (MGW) to my shifter and a new boot (vetteessentials) this is how it ended up!!! I had to cut off the top of the boot to get it down where i wanted and Sandy said it was intended to go too the top of the stick !!!! Wondered what some of you think ??? I like it better than before (stock boot)

I like the red stitching of the boot, I should have had mine done that way to match the car... do you have any pics with the boot covering the shifter before you cut it?... you think 2 months of no mods is bad, try 2 months of no driving while working on it

Haven't modded mine since the vararam/headers 1.5 years ago. A ford dually truck was kind enough to give my drivers side door a nice custom paint job though.

I was asking if you had a pic of the vette essentials boot going to the top of the shifter before you cut it?

Nice Pounder... how do you like the shifter?
I agree on the folds... smooth that puppy out... looks good though.
I really dig the flat stick and round ball ...

Mr. 73 ,I had the MGW shifter already (one of my first mods) and I loved the way it shifted, now with the flat stick ( which installs over the top of the shifter instead of bolting behind the shifter, it puts the handle in a different position and I really love the way it feels now !!!!

Per Mr. 73, I made some adjustments !!!!!!!!!!
I had some foam under the boot for sound deader, which I took out didn't really need it !!!!!!!!

I'm digging the look as it pops nicely. Now you just need to add a few more red enhancements to the interior.
