quick help/question involving Diff/Transmission mating
working on a 99 6 speed car and I am wondering if the circular diff cover that holds the output shaft seal is supposed to come out of the transmission tail cover. Its the first time doing this on a 6 speed car. I have done several Automatics and the cover always comes out with the diff. Not this time though, and its being a PITA trying to get it out the the trans rear cover. Here is a pics of the rear end with the missing cover Thanks!
