I have a set of FIA Corbeau Forza Sport seats in my C5. I daily drive the vette and every day I enjoy the heck out of 'em.

I assure you replacing your seats is worth every penny.

I talled with Caravaggio last week via email. Apparently the GT seats drop the seating position 2-3" depending on how you mount them :-)

I wonder how my 36" waist would feel in there?

Any other seats that would offer similar accomodations?

Anyone put any C7 seats or FR-S seats in yet?

I would love to get some C7 seats with the cooled seat option.

I test drove a the FR-S and the seats may be the best part of that car.

Sparco Fighters on the stock power rails. I wanted to retain the memory functions.

I feel like I'm sitting slightly higher than stock, but I'm pretty sure I can go one notch lower on the side mount rails I used to fit them on the stock rails.

There was a recent post in the auto cross forum with a guy using bride seats. They look nice and supportive and they recline.

After making the main adapter brackets you can make 2
sheetmetal pieces to hold the seat controls using some short #6 or 8 coarse screws

Cut a piece of weatherstrip or backer rod

Now's a good time to add seat heaters if you drive on cold mornings.
I added these individual 5 settings ones

You have to fold the bottom one in half as it won't go past the first stitching but it still works great.

One last thing.
If you spot weld some short bolts from underneath to the inside holes in the adaptor brackets
before putting them on the seats, it makes bolting up the seat tracks a breeze.
You have to cut off the pressfit studs on the tracks with a cutoff wheel to expose the holes.
You can see some grinder marks on the bottom track flange.

I've been searching this and that. I ended up finding a post where someone was bragging about his C5 seats in his S-10...........

It looks to me like the C5 seats are not much of an upgrade....... actually, the S-10 seat looks pretty much the same.

I like the look of the Evolution Xs, but I am nervous about the lack of recline. ??????

But man those look so good in there. I bet they feel great.
The seats in that Nismo 370Z are Recaro Sportster CS. They will fit in C5, but it's tight, may have to remove some trim.

I went with Corbeau A4's. Had them recovered in leather to match the rest of the interior upgrades. Followed a thread on the forum to modify the seat brackets to allow mounting them on the correct side and not interfere with the seat belt retractor. They fit very tight. I would agree that their quality is not as good as some others, but they function well and are more supportive than the OEM seats. I did lose the power options but I rarely used them.
