What's the contact info for Radioflyer? I don't know if I'll be able to reach anyone on a Sunday afternoon but my hid low beams are inop. Input to ballast has battery voltage when the switch is on but no lights. High beams work though. If I turn the stalk the lights won't come up but if I push for brights, the lights will pop up and close normally if I turn the switch. The only thing I can think of would be bad ballasts? But what are the odds of both being bad? I can't think of a way to test the output...all fuses check out.

I'm installing as we speak. Turns out the HID inputs are reversed. If you look at the wires, the tan output wire for low beam should be connected to the "+" side of ballast input side. If you need further help, PM me.

Dang, as a new C5 owner I need these. How long until the second production run is shipped?

Make sure the big plug from the ballast that plugs in to the low beam plug is plugged in backwards, the locking tab should be on the opposite side of what what it is designed for.

That's what I had to do...I never ever would have noticed the little molded in markings for +/-...did you guys get lucky and notice that or did you know it was coming somehow?

Checking with supplier to verify when they are to arrive. Once the lights are in stock with the supplier, the new kits should be able to ship in about 2 weeks from time of order.

The good news is that both bulbs will last many many years even if you drive frequently at night.
OK thanks George, and as and when they need replacing are these able to be sourced OK?

Thanks

we have replacements available, but as of yet have not needed them for a bulb exceeding it's lifespan.

Mine arrived today. I didn't do anything but open the box and take a look but I appreciate the quality you've put into these things.

And all things considered, I don't think the wait time was bad at all, especially once you got everything together.

Thanks again!

I have a couple of questions.

I can figure out what the HIDs do when the high beams are on, but are there LEDs in the high beam location? is that part of the $650 kit?

What is the weight difference between the factory setup and this?

Yes and yes. Nice, right? George thought of everything.

Not fully sure, but they seemed similar to me. New ones may be a tad lighter (pun intended?).

LED are in the high beam location. HID projector pattern changes for high beam to "full beam spread" All of this is included

Our kit is slightly heavier than factory (shipping weight is about 8 lbs) compared to the parts being replaced which are about 3 pounds.
