Default L5 motorsports out of business?

I've placed an order for front and rear fenders going on a month now. I was told it would be roughly 3 weeks, they asked for payment in full well over 2k. I called last week on Monday and was told your feneders will be shipping out Wednesday. I'll get a tracking number sent to the email that's linked to your account.
Fast foward last Thursday I called asking if they shipped and why I didn't get a tracking number. "Im sorry I forgot to send the tracking numberbut they have been shipped." I thought ok just text me the tracking number when you have a moment.
Well now its a week later, no tracking number no texting or communication. I've left numerous voicemails and texts with no reply. I'm started to get rather ticked off.

I bought L5's...same thing, took forever...

What I finally received were crap fenders that were in terrible shape. My bodyshop wouldn't even use them. I kept calling and leaving voicemails/emails with no response.

I finally threatened to start a corvette forum thread, BBB complaint and dispute with my card company. Surprisingly, Sue then responded. She was very nice/gracious and said they'd fix it. They ended up sending me new fenders a couple weeks later that were much better. I tried to even return the bad/defective fenders 4-5 times and they never followed through to send a call tag!

I ended up selling the fenders to someone and made some good money back. LOL.

I also bought some carbon splash guards to go with the fenders. What I got was all full of bubbles in the clear coat. Terrible.

I returned those an got a prompt credit.

After all of the trouble/wait, they promised to send me some non-carbon splash guards for free - and of course, they never followed through.

After a couple unanswered emails to Sue about where the splash guards were, I gave up.

I like the look of the L5's but man, I feel like even with my terrible experience, I am one of the lucky ones. I got my fenders and my refund...and made money selling the first crappy set.

Would I deal with them again? Heck no. I'd go TPE, then Corvette Creations.

Good luck.

Best of luck getting your fenders and hope they are in great shape. Doesn't sound too positive from the above posts.

It's bad all the way around. I bought hre wheels with a large offset c6 z06 so all of my wheels stick out. I really hope I can get this corrected.

TPE is notorious for communication issues and long waits, Corvette Creationz is notorious for terrible quality; pick your poison

It sounds to me like L5 is the worst of both worlds

I have no complaints dealing with Superman09, hopefully having another vendor involved can sort out some of the issues with L5.

Over the past 5 plus years have read many a sad post as above. I would be very hesitant to deal with them, based on the feedback. IMHO.........

My understanding is that he is a distributor, not a manufacturer. I bought my exhaust from him and he shipped quickly and was very easy to communicate with, he is not the problem, the manufacturer is the issue.

I was interested in L5s a few years back and tried contacting them directly. They seemed so pushy about me sending the money immediately that it scared me off. Sounds like I made the right decision.

This is a previously existing vendor (seemingly with a good reputation) that is simply selling L5 products as a distributor.

We are NOT L5, nor do we have any association or connection with them other than being a vendor of some of their products!

I noticed you're selling L5's again, I think that's awesome!
