Default So...when is the big day coming?

Getting close to spring...going to be close to 50 deg here in Michigan next week...was going to wait until mid-April...might be time to wake the beast...haven't drove it in four months...REALLY got the itch...

When are y'all planning on getting 'er out of storage?

Way behind on my header installation, otherwise would have been on the road. Roads have been clear but gritty here in Kelowna BC for a few weeks. Figuring 2 weeks and I'll be there.

Drove mine today for the first time in awhile. No snow on the roads and we have a week of upcoming 50*+ too so I couldn't resist. Well worth it!

We've still got a bunch of snow on the ground and a ton of salt on the roads. I usually wait until we've had 3-4 heavy rains until I take mine out of storage. I took it out the first week in May last year.

I'll be getting mine out next week. And then new tires and I'll change all the fluids.

50s next week here in Wisconsin. I am going to put the battery back in, start it up, change oil, clay bar and polish, detail it good and maybe put the new EBCM on it. I am not taking it on the road until the rains have washed off all the road chemicals.

Temps are supposed to be really nice the next week, but there is still a lot of salt on the roads. When the rains come and wash the streets down, then the car comes out.

I'm hoping to bring it home Easter weekend so I can start fooling around in the garage. Driving, IL salts the roads like they are trying to give them a heart attack!!

I drove my D/D 2001 coupe most days this winter, stayed out of the ice and snow the last couple of weeks several days, but I bought the coupe to drive.

My city in Wisconsin wanted to make sure they used up all the salt they had. They would put down 1/4 inch of salt for a 1/4 inch snowfall. It's going to take a heavy rain to flush it all away.

Problem here in the Boston area is the amount of snow that has to melt. I usually plan on April 1 but not this year...It also needs to be a gradual melt or major flooding will ensue. Mid May is realistic.

We got a decent amount but not that much.
I'm hoping to pull it out earlier but we will see. Once the snow melts and we get a few good showers to wash the salt is when she will come out of hibernation.

I was thinking May but like you I saw the forecast for next week and now maybe mid April. I can't wait worked on it all winter, lots of mods, so clean top and bottom need a good rain to get rid of the salt !!!!!!!!!!
