Painted tires??
I know there is someone on here who has a black c5 with yellow Nitto logo painted on the tires. looks pretty good. Anyone else do it? is there a kit you can buy? How did you do it etc. Thought about doing this if its reversable. I know its not for everyone but thought it was cool.

Good luck if you do it. You're right, they are not for everyone.

I agree, good call.
Years ago they made tire paint sticks in various colors. It worked ok for painting raised letters to a color, but they required touching up periodically. If it was for more than just the raised letters, I would be afraid of it coming off and looking really ratty.
I prefer black wall. On one car I wanted tires that I could only find in raised white letters. Either they don't make or I couldn't find black paint sticks to get rid of the white letters. I tried a sharpie pen and it worked marginally. I finally went with a hobby store black acrylic paint and carefully applied it with a small paint brush. It worked pretty well, but I still need to touch it up about once a year.

Agree, good call!
IMO, the painting on the tires just distracts from the car. That is a stunningly beautiful Ferrari, but my eyes keep going to the white letters on the tires.

Might be dating myself here but back in the day when I was much younger, I grew up using a lot of white lettered tires for my cars. I actually liked it but think it belongs on the vintage vehicles. I've thought about doing it to my vette as well but just can't bring myself to cleaning it up after I
see it doesn't look good.
