Happiness is a C5 Z-06
Finally, bought my first CORVETTE. Was at the ROLEX 24 2014 with pops sleeping in his 08 and stared at a Comm Ed Z-16 all night. Woke up the next morning and I was hooked. I told pops I want one and he told me I would have an adventure ahead of me. Well after 10 months of searching, I found this one {at the local toyota dealer of all places} checked it over using knowledge I had learned on this site and bought it Nov 2. 92,000 miles, very well kept with all maintenance records. I drive it daily and it drives like a new car. I couldn't be happier. Best part was when my wife and I took it to show pops, the smile on his face was priceless!

The real question is the PO drove that into the dealership and drove out in what? Prius? Sienna minivan? The "sporty" new Camry

He could've been a younger guy and gotten an FR-S... or aged out and got an Avalon
Alternatively, it could have been an auction car

Actually he bought a new Tesla. He is good friends with the finance manager. No auction car here.

Correct. He is 64 years young and a stickler for maintenance. $16,800.00 out the door taxes, title, and 2 years of tags. And a clean car fax.
