does anyone use the torque app in their C5
I was thinking about buying a bluetooth obd2 port and buying the torque app but i wanted to know if others have used it and what they think about it

I use on on my 04 Tahoe.. guess I could plug it into the Vette too, but never have. Gives basic info, you can check codes, and reset the check engine light.
I keep it plugged in all the time, but only log onto torque if the check engine light comes on.
Technically it will measure 1/4 mile times and such.. but never tried it in the Tahoe.

I used to use torque every time i started previous vehicles, but ive kinda lost interest with it in the vette. There are very few pid's that work. I was told by another torque user to try the obdlink lx or mx in addition to torque and it will help find other pid's, but im not gonna spend another $60+ to make it work.

Safety Car
my brother has that app and blue tooth for his 02 turbo Z/28 Camaro and it works pretty well to be honest, he even used it on his 2000 chevy truck to help fix a intake leak, so I would say for what it cost's its a pretty hand device to have around

Torque
The guy with the Mustang is my office-mate at work and he runs Torque with the stang and on his F150 Raptor.
It was so impressive that I got two 7" tablets to try it with my Vette.
But the OBD][ adapter, although it works with my Galaxy Note, won't work with the tablets.
So I'm shopping for a compatible OBD][ adapter.
What I saw going on in his vehicles makes me want this.
He (and I) bought the PRO version.
He can record stuff like driving sequences....

For the money, the Torque app works very well. Using it for checking codes pays for itself already. The other things it monitors are pretty accurate as well. Depending on what phone/tablet/android radio your reading off of will depend on what bluetooth interface to buy. Different devices work differently but do some research and these flea-bay obd2 bluetooth units will work fine.
