Playing C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7 sounds like so much more fun than playing Peanut.

Was there in Aug 2011 for 2 weeks, 1 week in Honolulu, 1 week on Cruise to the islands.
Took over 1000 pictures, Corvette show at the Zoo when there.
Road to Hanna was fantastic 600 curves but definitely not a road for Corvettes.
Awesome place ENJOY.

It remains, years later, the greatest 'taste' experience of food; in my life. My taste buds, are salivating right now (I'm not kidding)
thinking of the sweet taste of the fresh pineapple. Mannnnnnn.......
I read somewhere, that some car rental companies were going to have Corvette convertibles, in Hawaii. ???
Both trips, for one day, I rented a convertible, just to drive around (most of the way) the Island of Oahu. So scenic, stopping at all the little out of the way beaches, and all. On the north shore, is where the giant waves are, to watch the surfers take them on (the giant waves). Very cool....
Hope your trip is great.

Actually was in Maui this past July for my Anniversary and talked to a guy that lives there and keeps track of the number of Corvettes on that island. He now has a C3 and C5, and was looking for a C7. IIRC he said there were only 2 or 3 C7's at that time and 40 or so C6's. Not sure about C5's.

Moved to the Big Island in July. I have saw 2 other c5 Z. The Z loves it down here! Moved from Wyoming at 4500' to sea level, definitely can feel a few extra ponies. The car is get here, the only thing I miss is in Wyoming we had plenty of out in the middle on nowhere roads! But it is fabulous down here.

Update: Day three and didn't see one Corvette today. Of course half the day was on Ho-Okena beach. Now just sitting on lanai drinking a Blue Moon waiting for the crab legs to finish boiling. I think Maui is still my favorite island but this is great also.

Melting Slicks
I went to Maui a few years back and I couldn't help but look for corvettes. I remember seeing 3 C5s in a week. The depressing part of the whole thing is if anyone has ever been to Maui (and I think this applies to all the islands), the speed limits on the main highways and main roadways are literally ridiculously low. (If anyone wants to chime on with a good explanation for this, I'd love to hear it). So, if anyone has a C5 there, hopefully there are tracks there they could use.

Hope to visit the others, someday.
A friend took a cruise, where they went on the ship from island to island; spending two days on each one. They loved the trip, and not packing and unpacking, just have the same room back on your ship.
Think that would be fun.
Funny thing is, now you will say 'lanai', the rest of your life, instead of 'porch'. At least I do..... and some will say 'what is a lanai?'.....
have a safe trip,
Don
