Default need advice on coolant issues

How can I make this forged motor run cooler. Street and highway speeds. Cooling system is all new. Air in the system is questionable. Have been trying to bleed the air for days. Thanks in advance

• Bigger radiator
• Lower actuation temperature thermostat
• Properly tune the car
• Ensure no debris in radiator duct
• Remove air from system
• Water Wetter

Had air in the system. Took a funnel and attached it to the over fill hose and filled it up until it overflowed the reservoir. Crazy but it worked . Bigger would be better but i think I'm okay for now. Going on a highway cruise and i will post up the results. thanks fellas.

Took it for a good cruise. Stayed at 195F and hit 210F at fith gear running at 70mph to 75mph . It didnt reach 240F like the day before. Fans come on at 200F. I hope this leads to a new way to bleed the air out of the cooling system. By the way it was about 87degrees out there in the afternoon. Not that hot but hot enough if theres air in the cooling system.

sounds like a Stock radiator, T-stat and fan temp setting.. 195* T-stat and 200-220 fan settings in ecu.

Are your running a UD crank pulley? that will slow the water pump and result in slightly higher temps as well.

Is your cooling system stock or what is "NEW" in your cooling system.
As stated above, to lower your temps
* HD Radiator
* Lower temp T-stat
* Adjusted temp settings in Tune
* Clean between Radiator and AC condenser (and in AC cond. Fins).

when i did my water pump i also put everything together and filled the block with coolant via the upper radiator hose before filling the radiator and no problems with air in the system.

195 to 210 is where it's supposed to run. What temp are you looking for?

Got it fixed fellas. My z06 has a forged ls2 which was recently installed. A performance radiator was suggested and i passed it by. Thats my next mod as soon as i get a blower. By the way. I spanked a camaro with lsthree license plates on it along with a z some crap on the freeway today. On the 101fwy. Ok.ok. thanks

I had to look at all my treads and posts to remember how to bleed the air in the system. Thank you CF.
