Default Corvette does a little "off-roading" at the Track

I missed a turn at NCCAR on Saturday and did a little "off-roading."

There was an orange Camaro behind me and his video is inset in mine.

Just say, "No, really, I meant to do that. I could tell that the Camaro driver was just too shy to pass me on his own, so I helped him out!!"

Just kiddin' with ya.

Hey, stuff happens out on the track even for the best of drivers. Important thing is you are OK, your car was not damaged and you got back on the track.

It was a fine day at the track....and you were not the only one to go off..my friend with his brand new C-7 (blue) went off also. We spend some time removing the "hair" under his car. LOL....See you next year!

I'm watching the video and when I see your line into that corner (knowing that you went off somewhere) my stomach does a little clinch and my brain goes Oh, Oh. Of course not knowing which way the track went right after that turn---the line may have been just fine, and not the problem.

Oh yes, the blue one!

And yes, I heard about a car that had issues with a "hairy" turn!

I don't know. I keep replaying the clip, looking for clues, but I can't find anything. I see I wasn't the only one, though. There are tire marks right where I went off.

Hope fully I'm not stating the obvious but your line into the bend was way off, look at your road position compared to Camaro behind you. Thankfully it was only your pride dented but I bet your heart rate was elevated for a few moments!

I used AVS Video Editor for this one.

Well, tnspd is the better driver! That's OK, my heart is just about settled now.
