Default First 'vette purchase

I'm a new member of this forum and I have decided that I want a C5 Z06. I have found a car I like on Los Angeles Craig's List. I live in Dallas but my son lives in LA and is going to give the car a once over. However, I would like to get a professional opinion on the car. Anyone have a recommendation; individual or Corvette shop in that area. I've done a search but only find general pre-purchase info which I have read. The car is in the Hacienda Heights area if that helps.
Thank you.

A link would be nice and good luck with finding a good C5.

Just curious - no good C5s in Dallas?

I would think that there would be some really nice C5's everywhere with out having to look long distance.

Here's the link http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...586326443.html
There are certainly C5's in the Dallas area and some z06's but not necessarily what I want. My son looked at the car today and was very impressed with the car and it's owner. Owner was super picky about his toys; vette, Porsche and a couple of custom choppers. Was quick to point out a couple of minor stone chips.

Default C6 z51??

I was going to get the C5Z06 in till, I drove a C6 Z51. The Interior is night in day better in the c6.The c5 interior looks like a old caviler interior. C6 has better seats,Head lights, More Comfortable ride , Allot more luxury bells and whistles. With very close performance as the c5 Z. The ride is more refined I the C6. You should drive both before you buy. Im glad I did!!! But it's your $$$ With a few bolt on's you'll be right there anyway?
