Purple Z06 anyone?
I just got my car back today after custom paint (Audi Velvet Purple) and a ton of other work done by Chris at Phoenix Performance. This car is well on its way to being an awesome street/track compromise. Pics first, then further details later.
Before:
Color Inspiration:
After:
Some of the stuff on the car now:
Cray Brickyards 18x9.5 and 19x11
Bridgestone RE-11 265/35/18 and 305/30/19
Pfadt JOC shocks, sway bars, and end links
Phoenix delrin bushings kit
C6 Z51 caliper brackets with C5 calipers powdercoated yellow
DBA T3 4000 rotors
Stoptech Street Performance pads (for street/autox, swapping pads for track)
Vararam intake
Corsa Xtreme exhaust with x-pipe
Monster stage 2 clutch with 18 lb flywheel and remote bleeder
MTI Racing short shifter
Ron Davis radiator with integrated engine and trans oil coolers
Trans cooling pump behind LR fender
Improved Racing oil thermostat
LED tail lights, reverse lights, sidemarkers, parking lights and turn signals
Still need to install:
HID headlights
front brake spindle cooling ducts
Kenwood double DIN and speaker upgrade
Some sort of partition and maybe Vettenuts insulation kit
REAL SEATS, not sure which
This car is the best, I just want to drive the hell out of it now. It was pretty good stock, but with the new suspension+tires+alignment the handling is just insane. I'll update this thread as time goes on with more details and thoughts on many of the individual products, but for now I'll just say that this total package is unreal.

Wow, love it!
Nice to see something done that's out of the box, great choice.

Your car looks amazing. Love the purple color. Reminds me of the '94 Black Rose Vette I had.

WOW!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
Vetteman - I have always loved that Black Rose color as well. Think it would be a great color on a C5!!

I've always liked purple and I think it looks great on a Vette. If it were me, I would only change the the yellow calipers, but not sure what else I would do except plain 'ole silver/grey/black/same purple to prevent clashing. I think this will certainly turn heads in a positive way. Nice job.

the job looks good but I think the color looks better on the Audi

The whole setup, color, wheels, tires are outstanding.

Not all purples look good on a car - this one sure does!

Very nice! Way to be original. The car looks great! A couple of questions. Where did you buy your clear front corners? I am looking for those same waffle pattern but can't find them anywhere. Also, any plans for the interior? I think black skins with custom matching purple stitching would be a great and subtle mod.
