They don't bother me at all. Of course when I was growing up twin antenna were cool! The worst part of having an antenna around here is if you part in the wrong part of town, you may come out and find your antenna bent over or broken. Not a problem for me, I live in the country.

On my Z06 I had the antenna hole filled. I then turned the antenna mount sideways so that the stock length antenna runs horizontal inside the rear bumper. It works so well that I wonder why GM couldn't have thought of a better antenna system than they did. My solution would have cost them no additional money. Anyway, it's a great and easy mod.

Installed a switch on mine. Mounted it in the center console. Power to antenna is always hot with car running. Switch splices into the hot wire and you are in control.
